On the last day of October Nordea Concert Hall will present Space Oddity: The Ultimate David Bowie Experience. David Brighton along with his brilliant band and an eye-catching show will be visiting Estonia.
David Bowie was a musician characterized by his compelling voice, continuous reinventions, musical innovations and striking visual presentation. Bowie has been ranked among the “100 Greatest Artists of All Time.”
He has sold over 140 million albums during his career and been awarded numerous platinum, gold and silver album certifications. Bowie gave his last live performance in 2006. Dozens of tribute bands trying to step into his shoes found them too big for them. Just one man has been highly acclaimed by reputable music critics and was approved by David Bowie himself. In 2013 on his Facebook page David Bowie called to enjoy the exciting spectacle of David Brighton’s tribute show.
Read moreDavid Brighton’s performance is supported and complemented by a brilliant backup band The Space Oddity Band with world class musicians. The guitarist Paul Nelson has had his original songs featured on television and in films. The guitarist and vocalist Switch is an award winning guitarist and recording artist from Canada who has appeared with Nancy Sinatra among many others.
Bassist Trent Stroh has made numerous TV appearances and can be heard on many commercial jingles as well. Trent's uncanny ability to reproduce the otherworldly bass lines in David Bowie’s music makes him the perfect choice for Space Oddity.
Vocalist Brooke Naughton has been working with some of the music industry's top professionals performing with groups that opened for Cheap Trick, Pat Benatar, Fleetwood Mac and others. Ryan Brown on drums brings his signature versatility to Bowie's wide ranging catalog, from cross over Euro-funk dance hits to glitter rock anthems. He has also played on numerous Hans Zimmer’s movie soundtracks.
